 		 Greene County lies 20 minutes north of Charlottesville
and boasts wonderful mountain views and a wide variety
of neighborhoods.  Although a growth area, Greene county
still offers a lot of house for the money. 

Fluvanna County is mostly rural and extends south all the way
to the James River.  Many affordable properties can be found there
and Fluvanna is also the home to Lake Monticello, a large gated
community with a golf course, pool, and clubhouse.  Homes at the
lake range from about 100-400k.

Louisa County extends east from Charlottesville a good way towards
Richmond and therefore offers an easy commute to either city. 
Louisa borders Lake Anna to the northeast which is a little less than
1 hour from C-ville.

Nelson County is one of the most beautiful counties in Virginia.  It is
a wonderful vacation spot with great hiking trails, skiing, golfing, and
camping.  Home of Wintergreen Resort, Nelson offers great vacation
homes as well as year round properties.
